Unite Professionals helps promotes the need for emergency food for local people with an Eggcellent Donation this Easter to The Southport Foodbank.
Unite Professionals with its Head Office in Southport is a leading provider of Case Management Services and long-time supporter of the Southport Foodbank and is giving back to the community with a donation of most wanted items to The Trussell Trust.
Unite Professionals Occupational Therapy Case Managers use their years of experience and knowledge to guide clients and their families on the most effective pathways to progress rehabilitation goals. It’s all about team work and when Nicola Beech, Re-hab Co-ordinator suggested supporting this worthwhile local charity; everyone was in total agreement.
Nicola said, “I checked the general shopping list on line to find out what the charity needed and purchased much needed nappies and toiletries to support the essential work that Southport foodbank provides.”
We at Southport Foodbank would just like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you for the lovely donation of toiletries and nappies we received from you yesterday. This will benefit so many families who are in real need of them. The volunteers here at the foodbank were quite overwhelmed when they saw it. We have given out nappies today to a young mother who was so grateful for them as she did not expect that in addition to the food.
