The team at Southport Foodbank was delighted recently to receive the news that The Morgan Foundation had agreed to donate £5,000 per annum for three years to fund our Community Money Advice service . This is a free service for our clients whose debt situation is contributing to the crisis they currently find themselves in. We are not there to help clients avoid their debts but to manage them and, by learning how to budget, avoid recurring problems in the future. This is all part of our ‘More than food’ ethos.
