Sadly December brought with it record demand from local families experiencing difficulties. As many of us were looking forward to Christmas as a time of happiness and plenty, many in our society faced the season with a degree of dread. For the first time ever since we opened almost three years ago, 600 people were fed during the month – almost half of them children.
We are very proud that, thanks to YOUR generosity, we were able to meet this need – but saddened that we should need to.
