Students returning their library books late at Southport College normally have to pay a fine.
Thanks to an initiative devised by the Library Manager, Stephanie Williamson, students were offered the opportunity to have the fine waived in return for a donation of food for Southport Foodbank.
The outcome of this brilliant scheme was the delivery of 6 crates of much needed food to our Lakeside warehouse by Jessie Allison and Carol Phillips.
Thank you to the students and to the College Library staff for making this great scheme the success it was.
