All is safely gathered in

1st November 2017

Schools, churches and other organisations all chose to donate the result of their harvest celebrations in 2017 to us.

The amazing total was 3.8 tonnes – 20% up on 2016.

A particular joy for some of our volunteers was being invited to attend the harvest assemblies at some of the supporting schools.  Harvest 2017

In the warehouse our volunteers weighed, labelled and stored the food ready, to support our clients who are expected to continue to grow in number unless significant changes are made in the roll out of Universal Credit.

Would you be able to survive for 6 weeks on a maximum of half the income you are due, when that income is at a very basic existence level when paid in full?

Thank you to each and everyone of you for helping us to ensure we can continue to ensure that local families are given some relief and don’t go hungry.
