Community Money Advice

A problem shared is a problem halved - especially when the person you are sharing it with is able to offer practical help.

Many people who come to our Foodbank do so because of a problem with debt. To many, their debt problem seem insoluble and never ending and cause strains on their health and relationships. We realise this and want to help.

We offer a range of services such as…

Acting as debt adviser

Reviewing income and expenditure in detail for potential savings

Providing advice on potential options for tackling debt problems

Just providing a sympathetic ear

All our advisers have been trained by the Community Money Advice team and are able to tap into their expertise and experience.  We have access to their training, advice line and other resources – so we will not be alone in doing this.  Our service, like everything within the Foodbank, is totally confidential.
